LAUNCHING OF OUTLANDISH /ROOM/ and exhibition
For his 10 years anniversary of photography Marc Kiska celebrates the launching of his photo book OUTLANDISH /ROOM/. Together with the presentation of a special edition of numbered and signed books, he will exhibit a collection of his main work. The vernissage will endeavor to take you into some of the elements of the world of his work…

OSLOQUEER ART EXHIBITION
Marc Kiska present his book OUTLANDISH /ROOM/, a serie of 8 pictures and his experimental short film CONSANGUINEOUS, during the Europride together with 39 artists in a 108 s(queer)meter art tent.
For the official opening the Commissioner for Culture at the city of Oslo welcomes the public to the cultural program of the queer artist group «Skeive Kunstnere».
In addition to the exhibition of fine arts, the group also presents a program of poetry readings, performance, experimental art films etc from their scene "Speaker’s Corner". More interactive art performances/projects will take place in the art area.
During the last 12 years we have been a growing group of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, both established and amateur artists working together in solidarity to arrange collective sales exhibitions. Our group is depending on benevolence, sales of art and voluntary work of our artist members.
This year we also show the art of out guest exhibitor Laima Ceple from Latvia, that our group invites in solidarity. Guesting our exhibition are also the «Rainbow children»: children of queer families showing their art which portrays their understanding of their families. This project is aimed at making LGBT persons as caregivers more visible in our society.
